Marc Bergeron, President of FluxSpheres Therapeutics Inc., acts as the person in charge of the protection of personal information under Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25).

We do not ask you for any personal information in order to browse this site.

Like any website, the server hosting it automatically records certain technical data on each visit: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, pages viewed, date and time of the visit, and where applicable the page that referred you to us. These logs are generated by the hosting infrastructure, not by us.

If you write to the email address shown on the site, we receive your email address along with any information you choose to include in your message.

We use no audience measurement tools, no advertising pixels and no tracking networks.

Technical logs are used solely to operate, secure and stabilize the site, and to diagnose incidents.

Information contained in an email you send us is used solely to reply to it and to act on your request.

We do not sell, rent or trade any personal information. We do not build profiles and we make no automated decisions about you.

This site sets no tracking cookies. It uses your browser’s local storage for two display preferences:

The fs-lang key stores the language you selected, so that you are not redirected to the other version on each visit. The fs-cookies-vu key records that the notice at the bottom of the screen was dismissed, so it is not shown again.

Both values stay in your browser, are never transmitted to our servers, and cannot identify you. You can erase them at any time by clearing your browser’s site data.

The site is hosted by a cloud infrastructure provider whose servers may be located outside Quebec, including in the United States. The technical logs described in section 2 may therefore be processed outside Quebec.

We have assessed that this disclosure does not expose sensitive information: it is limited to technical browsing data, with no account identifier and no voluntarily provided information.

Emails you send us are handled by a messaging service whose servers may also be located outside Quebec.

Technical logs are kept by the host for a limited period, generally a few weeks, then deleted automatically.

Emails and the information they contain are kept for as long as necessary to handle your request and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, after which they are destroyed or anonymized.

The law gives you the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to request its correction if it is inaccurate, incomplete or ambiguous, and to request its deletion where retention is no longer justified.

You also have the right to withdraw your consent, the right to receive the computerized information you provided to us in a structured, commonly used technological format, and the right to file a complaint.

To exercise any of these rights, write to the person identified in section 1. We will respond within thirty days of receiving your request.

If our response does not satisfy you, you may file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.

The site is served exclusively over HTTPS. We apply reasonable measures to protect information against loss, unauthorized access and disclosure. No transmission over the Internet can, however, be guaranteed perfectly secure.

In the event of a confidentiality incident presenting a risk of serious injury, we will notify the individuals concerned and the Commission d’accès à l’information, as required by law.

We may amend this policy. The update date shown at the top of the page reflects the version in force. Any significant change will be flagged on the site.
