Unlocking SLC druggability
What if the next generation of therapeutics is hidden in the 95%+ of SLC transporters that remain unexplored?
FluxSpheres is a new specialized CRO (contract research organization) building the experimental engine to unlock them.
From hit discovery to lead optimization and MoA elucidation, we combine the gold-standard Xenopus oocyte system with complementary cell models and a large portfolio of in vitro pharmacology bioassays (e.g. small molecules screening, functional flux, electrophysiology, and biophysical, biochemical, and structural bioassays) to accelerate the discovery of next-generation SLC-targeted medicines.
Our strength is mechanistic confidence: orthogonal validation (including genetics) to establish target engagement, function and mechanism, not simply activity, while enabling the discovery of novel SLC activators that have yet to reach the market.
